My name is Alan, however I am known to many as athex.The photographs on these pages are representations of my interpretive vision. I do not construct or pre determine my images, I record what I see.

All these works are digital and most have had some post camera enhancement in an attempt to align the finished image with my interpretive view. I do not import image from other sources.

I have enjoyed photography from a young age. In my youth I spent many hours developing my eye and technical understanding of film, and printing in black and white. This learning still influences my photography today.

I have always viewed the world through a photographers eye. However for many years I did not produce any finished images as my energies were directed elsewhere. In 2006 I discovered digital photography and later the on-line community, both exciting discoveries that have given me an outlet and unimaginable learning opportunities. Not to mention all the on-line freindships
