In the Costa Rican Glass House of the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, this cute, blue and yellow bird landed loftily in front everyone, and he looked around at us with the most peculiar scrutiny. This was a Yellow-Throated Euphonia, and I believed it was a male. The bird made continuous rounds from the base of the man-made Baobab tree to the upper foliage of the tree. Another Yellow-Throated Euphonia, probably a female, was carrying bits of dried leaves and detritus up to a secluded thicket in the tree.
You should check out some of the ‘bird’ groups. Look on my page and see if you can find some that you can enter this in. It’s such a great little shot!
