…along the Navua River, Fiji

..to get to this magnificent place (which is where the movie Anaconda was filmed btw).. we took boats up the Navua River… we got to a place and climbed some rocks….then for the more adventurous ones we had the opportunity to dive into a dark bottomless pool, under a rock ledge and come up the other side to this magnificent view!!! (about half way under the water holding my breath.. i realised i probably should have stayed behind with all the ‘older’ folks.. heheh.. but out of sheer survival instincts (read panic) i gasped my way to light above and made it…now, to get my camera to this point i had to give it to one of these local boys (the one just emerging from the waterfall) who amazingly rock climbed the vertical cliffs with cameras on his back!!! Totally amazing! – after some time here, we left our boats and rafted back down the river.. poor Duds went thru a lot that day…
