..usually nocturnal, this mother and baby possum were setting the cockatoos off screeching one afternoon in the gum trees outside my door…I love catching a glimpse of the local nocturnal wildlife (which i usually only hear go bump in the night!!)

This is so gorgeous a-m :) I had some work done in my roof and the tradesmen found a possum and her baby so I took the manhole cover off in the ceiling in my study and they came down and lived in my study for 2 days. I fed them and then when Ken was home from o/s he managed to open the tall window and they escaped to freedom :)
awww…did you get any pics???? i hear them in my laundry at night.. rummaging around… heh…it was so lovely to see them in the daylight…
