M81 & M82 Galaxy Pair in Ursa Major with Orion ST-80 and Canon T3i 25pictures(50 minutes)25 x120 sec@ iso800 Imaged on 2/4/2012
These 2 galaxies in the constellation of Ursa Major lie approximately 12 million light years away. M82- on the left- is gravitationally interacting with its neighbor M81 at a distance of about 150,000 light years.
