Andrew is an amateur photographer originally from Red Wing, MN, transplanted in Connecticut, finishing his 13th year in the United States Navy. Andrew resides in Griswold, CT with his wife, formerly Katie Hoisington of Red Wing and daughter Kaylin. He is stationed at Naval Submarine School in Groton, CT as a Fleet Responsive Training Instructor. Andrew has completed tours on three operational fast attack submarines. Andrew is a entirely self taught photographer, specializing in Landscape and Nature Photography, with and emphasis on long exposure photography. Most of his photos are from the New England area due his commitments to the US Navy. Andrew still occasionally gets home to Red Wing. He takes his photos using a combination of a Pentax Digital SLR and Pentax Lenses, a Pentax film SLR, and soon a Mamiya M645 medium format camera.
