This Poem Is Not Controversial

This Poem Is Not Controversial

it has no enemies
does not want to argue
defend one point
or attack another

this poem is at peace
it exists
past opposites
beyond contradictions

it has but love to offer
feels no need
to name
the nameless

between words
in the spaces around letters
this poem
shines

Forgive me for not taking the time with you.. I have seen your work in ADAWG.. ATTACHED TO PHOTOS AND ART.. BUt.. I have never just come here… this is profound writing and touches me deeply as I have had to write like the wind to allow for my heart to break.. This is really where my true love lies.. in the space between the in and the out breath.. the glue that is the unknowable.. only to gradually be known.. and then.. beyond the expansive and forever unknowable once again… Your kind poets heart and Soul is celebrated by this sister.. xoxoxo

  • Assef Al-Jundi replied

what a wonderful comment… You are uplifting my spirit higher this evening ; )

“True love”, and “the glue that is the unknowable”... this poet wants to celebrate with you ; )

truly grateful, and thanks for making the poem a Favorite of yours…
