Writing

This Poem Is Not About Jesus

Somewhere in a faraway galaxy / a young planet begins.

In the Land of Hafiz (for Neda)

Single bullet through the heart. / Beautiful rose shatters. / Bloodied petals scatter.

ambush

we seek solace / in counterparts. / children grow up. / parents age. / friends know us / on Saturday nights.

I Can Not Help But Laugh

One driver thinks he and his car / are one and the same. He tells himself he and his car just happened / to evolve from dirt of the road

Later Years

Lao Tzu, in his later years, / rode into the desert to die

Silly Romantic

How light can I get? / How silly romantic? / How much love / can I feel?
