Behind the scenes
There’s two things I aim to capture when photographing live music, the energy of the performer and the atmosphere in which they perform. For the former, movement and facial expression are vital. Keeping the face in crisp focus as well as the instrument while letting the movement of the hair blur under the bright light exemplifies this.
