I’m very pleased and humbled that “Rowing on a Misty Morning” received a Gold in the 2011 Prix De La Photographie Paris. Regarded as Europe’s most prestigious photographic competition, it’s incredible to be recognised alongside the fantastic work of so many talented artists from around the world. To everyone who found success in this years competition, congratulations!
In addition, “Cygnet”, “Sunset” and “Freycinet Wallaby” received Honourable Mentions while a further five works were named as official selections.

Congratulations Adam, I love this image and try as I might I’ve never been able to catch the rowers on a misty morning!! Love the website too… you sure are motivating me to get back out there more!
Adam Spence:
Thank You Raquel, really appreciate it :)
It’s definitely worth it, even with the rather cold temperatures we’ve already had. The Brindabellas in particular are wonderful at the moment with recent snow. No doubt from the traffic others had the same idea. Made it a bit past Bulls Head this week, encountering inches of snow, heaps of Wallabies, and of all things, a Wedge Tail Eagle… on the road… in front of the car before flying up into a tree.
