On the Beach

On the shore of the beach
with a camera on hand
To photograph the ocean’s waves
stand in it’s mighty sand

As Fog came in and made it awfully cold
The ocean Waves were getting rough
That really made me bold.
I braced myself against the rock
As the powerful waves unfold

The last time we were in Southern Cal. was at the same time as the awful, raging fires around L.A. The air was thick with smoke, however the scenery, although it took on a different ‘patina’, was more subdued. We captured a few special shots with a ‘red sunset’ at Venice Beach.
Loved your poem. More please, when you feel inspired. cazfromoz
