I am at work…
A man named Henry just came in looking for work…
He was homeless!
He was hungry …so I gave him breakfast!
I gave him all the money I had on me $6.00 is all I had.
But he needed it more than I….
Some people here say I shouldn’t have done this!
Well screw them I don’t care!
The great Creator told me to..and I listened!
And guess what? I’ll do it again!
May God bless Henry!
For God has already blessed me in so may ways!

o….. how difficult it is for those whom dont have a meal… and are hungry tired. have no health care. no address. let alone a pillow to lay on…….. you have a good heart. and thankyou for sharing. this story and sharing your heart with this man…… that breakfast will help him keep going to pursue the next step…. bless you

I wish I could’ve taken a picture with him! Everyone at work for the most part were all freaked out that I gave him food, he sat at our community bar to eat. They said,“You know he won’t leave now…” Blah blah! I don’t care, I hugged him ! It started to rain and I gave him an umbrella to keep dry. I only wish I could’ve given him a job too….

I am so happy to here that!!!!! Thank you! But I can’t take all the credit ya know. My Mother gave me my own mind, never held me back! The great Creator and I have a great relationship! And I just stop when I am put in this type of situation….and pray, then I listen to my own soul, and from there I do what I need to do to help another! I would give the shirt off my back if I needed to! I believe in PAY it Forward!

Much of what is wrong with the world today is people stop treating others like human beings. They said “he won’t go away” as if he was a stray dog, not a human being worthy of love and respect and to be treated with dignity. Oh such sadness this causes me to feel! Not for the homeless man, but for those whose hearts are stone. I love you my daughter.

And I tried not to show how mad I was. That’s what drives the hearts of stone! I kept on smiling and I gave him a few hugs! He hugged me very hard as if he had not had a hug for a long time!!!He told me a few stories too. He said “God Bless you…” And I said he has. “He will Bless you to Henry” I told him to not give up and stay strong!

Good for you Ashley! Everyone should remember that most homeless people are veterans. They fight to keep us free, and we should give back when we can.
