Thanks for the kind comments. This drawing is very special to me so I am thrilled to have it so generously received. It’s taken from a photograph of an exceptional young girl I met in the West Bank. She had such an expressive, poetic face and possessed a beautifully bright and vibrant imagination. It made me think of all the creativity stifling within conflict areas.

As an Israeli who wants a peaceful dialog and relations with the palestinians, I respect this point of view and am aware that sadness, sorrow, and tension are evident for both sides. A wonderful artwork that can help both sides recognize each other and get into a permanent solution. A most welcomed addition to the Art of the Middle East group.
