I realised that taking a good photograph requires inspiration – not necessarily from the subject, composition or lighting, but from within, such that with new eyes, the familiar can be transformed. Dedication and commitment is something that is needed with the willingness to “walk around ready”.
Ultimately, the living essence of art is to bring a reaction in the observer, both before and after creating a work.
