That looks smart framed up :)
And you’re right…some great buildings and lines.
Ashley Ng replied
Thanks Caroline – pleasantly surprised by how it polishes up framed – I might get a matte print to see what this is like! (wanted to see the quality of the RB matte prints to see if could use it for exhibitions, competitions etc…)

Yes…wait for a BM

Bellissima questa immagene della insonnia. Bravo a crearla!

La ringrazio per le sue gentili parole! Siete italiani รจ molto meglio di mia!

Nice one Ashley I like the layers of information in the shot and the black and white tones are good.
Ashley Ng replied
Thanks Ian – was happy with the whites – was using aperture 2 for a bit of tweaking post conversion – there’s a function now called “recovery” which takes down just the high tones/highlights very nicely – which could also do on Adobe Lightroom as well, but don’t have that!
Sally Omar
This is such a beautiful shot…Sally xxoo

Thanks Sally for visiting! Glad you liked it!

very interesting – black and white is perfect for this kind of image. great capture of the city’s atmosphere.
Ashley Ng replied
Thanks Kurt – it is a very “busy” end of the street here with a lot of elements which were interesting to align!
kcranmer
I like the abstract quality here and works well in mono!
Ashley Ng replied
Thanks k – this was what I was aiming for – the tram lines and melbourne skyscrapers in the background really lended itself to this type of composition! Glad you liked it!
