I am a social worker and single mother of three from Berlin.
In the past I passed through a basic education in design and always busied myself with arts and crafts, painting and photography.
In late 2006 I discovered Linden Lab’s virtual 3D-world “Second Life” and soon I started taking pictures there under the identity of my avatar Ashanti LeShelle.
Fascinated by the possibilities this virtual world has to offer, my photography became more and more conceptional. It results from taking a chance of making fantasies visible by creating scenes which are not or hardly possible in the real wolrd.
