Mum turned one of her paintings into a mosaic, its meant to be cacoons turning into butterflies. Taken on Canon PowerShot A480. Definately need to ask for a tripod next birthday.
lol! glad to see you’ve got the tripod firmly in mind! I think you could argue that it’s not fair to wait till December for your birthday when other people get birthday presents during the year and then they get Christmas presents in December!! And anyway, isn’t there something like a ‘break your arm’ present? I’m sure I heard of that somewhere! Meanwhile you’re doing a great job, ashliegh – this is beautifully sharp and a nice tribute to your mum’s creativity as well.
Isn’t this just great!! Great work …. both mum and you too!! And it sounds like Nadine is on your side about getting a tripod!!! She is a great lady …, and a very interesting photographer., You might like to visit her site and make a comment on her photos too.
Ashleigh, what a good job you’ve done! I try to photograph my mosaics and the part that always gets me is the reflections from the tiles. You’ve got the colours beautifully without too much reflection.
Yes well done AJ. Tripod—good idea, but there are some guidelines you will need to follow. Uncle Jon good person to help you research what you need for your camera.

Oh wow. Well done!! There is a protocol for thanking them!! That means the polite way to do things. Great stuff Ashleigh Jean!! (and mum’s too)
Very nice shot Ashliegh. Congratulations on your feature
Just worked out Ashleigh was favourate not featured – still pretty cool though
now I am confused – I think she was featured? not to worry having fun. Starting to look at other peoples work now :)
She was a featured member of the group from what I can see. In any event it is great news!!
