Hello visitors and welcome to my bubble.
My name is Ashleigh; I’m a 21 year old student from Sheffield who is currently studying in the 2nd year of a BA (Hons) in Design and Art Direction at Manchester Metropolitan University in England.
After studying a Foundation Degree in Graphic Design at The Sheffield College, I desired to develop and further explore my own style while continuing to analyse the contextual, theoretical and cultural aspects of design. I therefore thought that university would be the perfect route for the self-exploration I sought.
I am particularly fond of experimental typography and conceptual design. It is important to me that all of my work is driven by thorough research and meaningful concepts that are personal to me.
To date I have enjoyed many successes in design, including various achievement awards and features in worldwide magazines and blogs. Having recently completed three work placements, I am keen to gain further experience in industry that will provide a strong foundation for future employment after graduation.
