Superb work – the shirt is sensational!

The hair in this drawing takes the cake. I once did a portrait of my dead grandfather for my mom and above all the curtain in the picture stood out the strongest. The angle of the hair mass leads the eye down and around the curve of the face. It holds the image together. You have a sensitivity for detail and obviously patience.

This is terrific Ashlee. I have been thinking of doing some traditional pencil artwork rather than concentrating on Photos for some time and decided to look what everyone else was doing, flicking through the pages etc. Then I came across your work.
