Photos a separate category
I think that, after some time poking my head around here, that photos should really be in their own category in the user pages. I mean, it makes sense to me.
Just normal photography, nothing that has been touched by photoshop or manipulated. Natural photography (the stuff I do I suppose).
Brilliant story about art and corporatism
I found this while digging through my rss feeds. Great story, I love what the people at the website do.
From 365 Tomorrows- ‘The last art on earth’
”...and continued towards Heartville, one of a few scattered “unincorporated towns” of independent eateries and artist studios where WMG couldn’t do business. Supposedly. She thought o…
Open-Source
Consider all of my written work open-source.
Do whatever you want with it.
Did I leave a story on a cliff-hanger? Go ahead and finish it.
Enjoy a character? Go ahead and develop them.
Like the setting/storyline? Go ahead and expand it.
Creativity to the max. I don’t want anything that will inhibit the creative flows people!

You…. you say that the file is corrupted?
Both the original photoshop and the png?

A little behind the 8-ball
Ack. I’ve not been very productive recently.
I’ve got a few pieces of art in the mill, plus a piece of writing or two. Unfortunately that has taken a back-seat in the last few days as I am currently trying to piece my shit together and get some direction and organisation (read: I’m not a very motivated person on the best of days, but that’s a-changin’!).
So anyways, hopefully by the end o…
Hey RedBubble folks! I got an idea/suggestion!
Idea: News feed (RSS or whatever) of the major art and design events happening around the world.
You should be able to sort by location (Sydney, New York), date (next week, next month, or during a certain semester, year, month) or subject (web design, photography, etc.).
Also, I think it would be cool if there was an area or address to send ideas and suggestions into, eh?
And you can e…
My first sale
Huh. Never saw that coming. Barely a week or so here, and I’ve got a sale. T-shirt too. Cool! Cheers to the buyer.
Funny though, it’s one of the T-shirt designs I don’t like a great deal, but I know it’s popular with people here.
Well, here’s to my first one!
New Theme: Digital Resistance
I’m thinking of having an ongoing theme for a few T-shirts. Centered around ‘Digital Resistance’ or something like that. Along the lines of my Digital life T-shirt.
Thoughts?
Graphic Arts Magazines
Anyone know of any good Australian graphic arts magazines?
Preferably one centered around contemporary art, typography and photoshop / illustrator.
I’ve seen a few good ones at Borders, but there doesn’t seem to be many good Aussie ones.
I like the looks of ‘Desktop Magazine’.
Mini Coopers Galore, Design Tournament
Some design stuff that fellow graphic enthusiasts might like:

Creative types rarely get to – or have to – produce work fuelled by the adrenaline rush of a live, screaming audience and panel of industry peers, however the ultimate designer shinding, Cut&Past…
Cheap, genuine DSLRs and Lenses in North Sydney
If you ever need a new DSLR, lense, case or a memory card, for my fellow Sydney Siders I have a great store for you:
Discount Digital Photographics
I’m looking at getting a Nikon D40x with a 18-70mm lense for about $1200. Pretty good considering it’s much cheaper than the normal stores.
They imp…
Art: Action Without Violence [new group!!]
Thought-provoking works of art, photography or t-shirt designs that convey a message about an important current issue. It could be about the erosion of civil liberties, global warming, degradation of democracy in your country or anything else that you feel passionately about.
Interested? Why not add a shirt design or a piece of art right now!...
RedBubble on Apple.com
Hey! I stumbled upon this while trawling through the Creative Pro section of Apple.com.au
Melbourne, Australia: In early 2007, the creative, technology and business skills of three friends gave birth to RedBubble, an on-line creative community and art gallery. Designed specifically to help photographers, artist…
Not happy RedBubble
I’ve sold 4 or 5 pieces of work, and I have not seen a dollar. I have also given the correct details for my banking.
What’s up? I’ve waited 3 months now.
