Taken from underneath an icy snowbank in a parking lot looking up towards the sky. I was lying on my back in the snow & muck. My husband said he wished he had had a camera to take a picture of me taking this picture! I’m sure I looked like quite the site.

The muck was worth it. this is a great shot. The blue in the background makes the ice look more like precious diamonds.

  • It was truly a remarkably beautiful day up at 9,000ft. It was so crystal clear and gorgeous. I knew the deep, blue sky would be a fantastic backdrop to the ice. I’m glad you like it!

What a wonderful capture! Crisp, clear, sparkling. Well worth the antics you took to take it. I agree with your husband—a shot of you taking it would be cute! :)
