Extreme close up of an old pot of my mother’s taken today, January 8, 2009. This pot is so old, I remember it from my childhood!
However most importantly, I want to dedicate this photo to my Gramma, Lydia, who past away today ;.o( My Gramma was the constant light in my life, my sunshine! She also had the most incredible “green thumb” of anyone I ever knew. She could make the most beautiful plants grow. Her backyard was like stuff you see in fairy tales; indescribable! So this old, scratched pot with the weather-worn, sunset-colored flower, and strange little devilish smile left behind by peeling paint represents and means so much to me on so many levels.

This image will be a “Limited Edition”, and only be available for purchase for 1 year from today’s date, January 8, 2009.
