(Accidental) Impressionism in Rosegarden

This shot has to be considered as a junk, the unsuccessful one… Every single photographer would be ashamed to display it publicly. Me too!

I was walking around in a rosegarden of Marconi spa and then I saw this view. I had to make the shot like sixty in fear that the guy with bags will pass by and the image loses so much without him. So I’ve made this one even the probability for a successful shot was an absolute zero. I did it automatically, without any contemplation. Of course, I’ve gotten a very poor quality image. “Well”, I thought when I saw the result. “I’ve gotten a pure impressionistic image that I like.” I was surprised the result.

However, it required some additional touch. First, I’ve made the image slightly darker, and then added texture. The latter lightened it again. Thus, I tried to strengthen the style and make it more artsy fartsy painting-like. :)

    Thank you for your compliment, Olga. This photographic spoilage required some improvement in graphic program. However, your wrong. I work with PS since 1996. I’ve started with PS5 (along with Micrografx), Then upgraded to PS6, later PS7. Now I work with PS8. Currently I work less with PS than before. :)

    Thank you so much, dear Lois. This is what came out of imperfection and is a good example illustrating the saying that one should do lemonade when the life brings lemons. Currently, I’m very busy with a few related projects and poke my nose to relax into RB for a short moments time by time. Currently I have no time to upload new images and comment your beautiful artwork among other talented RBubblers. Are you really in PA or that is a fable somehow obsessed my mind? Lol. :)
