Liliana Galor

Givataym (Tel Aviv), ISRAEL

I love people and I think that being human is the hardest and the most wonderful thing in the world; I know, it “sounds” romantic and a bit naive, but this is my ultimate truth :)

I’m Liliana, born and raised in Iasi, Romania.
-BA in fine art and design at Iasi (Yassy) Art College and studies at Iasi Art University.
-Lived and worked as an artist in Romania and now, for the last 16 years, in Israel.

Since I moved to the Israel, I worked as a freelance artist, designer and illustrator. I designed web sites and produced multimedia presentations, animations, design and development of large format outdoor advertisement posters, brand development, event exhibitions – with my own studio.

In the last tree years I’ve retired from the “commercial graphics scene” to the advantage of the artistic work. Back to basics!:)
I created artwork, both in classic and digital art. My works were in exhibitions in Israel. Some artworks are in private collections in Israel, Canada, United States and Europe. Trying to make a living from art, I’ve researched the local and global art scene.

Over the time I experimented with all kinds of media using traditional methods and materials in new and unconventional ways.

I am preoccupied by the meeting point of psychology, philosophy and art and I’m exploring the relationship between cultures.

Art-Zest is my art studio located in Jaffo- Tel Aviv (Israel).
