ty sherrill :)
Stunning capture, great details !
Mate, your work is exemplary, a genius at work…..I particularly like the way you darken the background to highlight the subject, and some of the ones of Teah are beautifully done…..I’m a klutz at all things computer, I do have Elements 9, but would love to know how you do that. This one is a fave, out of a heap of gems, but the gaze, the detail in the fur, and the humanity of the subject is very appealing, and the darkening of course…..a great shot, and thanx for showing!!
Hi David thank for your comment. appreciate the feedback.I’ve often been asked that very question about the background. Often with these images I use a shallow DoF on either a 70-200mm lens or a 400mm fixed lens. as that then creates a blurred and darkened background, I simply enhance those pre-existing qualities in post processing through the use of layers
Ah right! Ok, thats a similar thing that I do with some landscapes, or abstracts, particularly with a 21mm Zeis that I have…at 2.8, it very nicely darkens the background somewhat, and then, as you say, I am able to do a bit more in processing to enhance the subject. So, alls good, i’m not the dumb bum as I thought! Still, am still envious of your ability, and you work is inspirational!Cheers David
Thanks David, I have to say I’m impressed by your landscape work too
Wow, Lovely!! I really like how the fur seems the stand out with such detail and clarity in this picture. There’s a touch of gold to it that makes this shot really superb!! Well done!! Hats off to the photographer!! :)
thank you once again Chamika, that’s very kind of you
