I wanted to show Rover in context – he is a life-sized, big rangy dog, ribs & all. I played around with the image & finally got this interesting, moody result. The red painted mouth shows up here… weird indeed. Chautauqua, NY.Another view here .

A short bio, eh? I am Sheila, & I am short.
Many thanks, Chris. I guess I’m already thinking about Hallowe’en….
Oh my… who in heaven’s name created that dog.. must go look at your other image x
I wish I knew – the woman who lives in the house across the street was out & about when we strolled by, but by the time I started taking my pics, she’s taken off her gardening gloves & gone in…. After looking at this all my life, I think it’s time I made some inquiries. Thanks, M.
Yes! with the bench!!!
Weird, isn’t it? This was the artsy fartsy one, after the surgical studies….
What a grand shot. Definitely gives a great persective of the size of the piece. Beauty!
Because I’ve been looking at it for so many decades, by cracky, & because I often sat on it when younger & smaller, I don’t think about its impressive size. Thanks, Mikey, by cracky.
Thank you, Sarah!
Or just as likely sitting on the dog patting the seat. Thank you, Roy.
Thanks, ff. He is a dog among dogs.
Thank you, Marvin. He has more than a little character, & as I’ve said somewhere, he poses so nicely.
Its just beautiful Sheila!
Thank you, Ellen!
