Thanks! I tried a few odd angles while taking these shots, & I was pleased with this very different view. I could hang around these critters all day…. And they are SO photogenic!
Thank you, Steve. The small Buffalo Southern shortline that runs through Hamburg accommodates a number of the WNYRHS’s pieces of equipment on its unused sidings. Always something to see, from any number of angles!
Thanks, Ron. I played around with this & decided to go with the brights & limning effect. I have darker versions, but I didn’t really like them. The sun was on the wrong side, so I went for the artsy! More to come, no doubt. Are you being blown away today? Not too bad here yet, but worse to come, they say. CHCH had exactly the same forecast as the Buffalo stations yesterday. Batten down those hatches! The worst of the thunderstorms last night passed around us.
I took advantage of some odd light effects here – also took some shots of details that day. Glad you like this one – wish the engine were running, but you can’t have everything. Thanks, Gary.
Lovely details and pov Sheila, we have been watching a program on BBC about steam trains in the Indian hill railways, some of the trains are 100 years old and they are still going, the pride the people asociated with the trains is amazing and great to see!!
Thank you, Shaun ~ have seen something similar to what you mention, a few years back, produced by ? Could’ve been BBC, but what you’re seeing is probably a good deal more recent. Very impressive, those Indian railways. Would LOVE to ride them.

Thank you, Tom ~ I set this up with reasonable care, but I wasn’t sure I’d like the result. But I do!

Fantastic image Sheila , great to see this beauty!
Thanks, John. The club has certainly done a great job on it cosmetically, so it always looks terrific. Now to get it running.
