Just a sampler – the market is filled with joy & goodies, & an inane-looking Easter Bunny with whom you can have your picture taken. If you dare.
spring, easter, eggs, buffalo ny, broadway market, new york state
A short bio, eh? I am Sheila, & I am short.
Nice shot Shelia – full of colour
Thanks, Rob. Buffalo has a large Polish population, along with other, smaller Eastern European neighborhoods. The Broadway Market has a major Polish flavor, & painted wooden eggs are a staple.
Wow!! They all look so beautiful!! I think I’ll skip the insane Easter Bunny though!!! lol!!
Thanks, Tracy – I really did mean ‘inane’, but when I just read it over, I thought, I probably should change that to ‘insane’; either description fits!!
Love the colours and light.Great shot.
Many thanks, Carla! I took another shot of a better-illuminated case, but liked the contrast of this one better.
Nicely done, Sheila. Quite the assortment of Easter-themed goodies, particularly the Easter Shot glasses at only $11.99 for six. Would be nice to see a shot of the Inane Bun, though. Perhaps Atilla might liven things up a tad.
Attila the Inane Bun. Your fine offering & the ‘live’ bun at the market would indeed make a good pair, & as Tracy read ‘inane’ as ‘insane’, with what I think is justification, perhaps I should go back & actually have my pic taken with Broadway Market Attila. Thank you for your support….
Wow great shot Sheila, and how many for you?
Thanks, Rob – I could run off to the cabbage patch with a dozen or so, BUT, they are painted wood. This means that I could neither eat nor hatch them, try as I might….
Many thanks for that. The market was just one photo opportunity after another, if you could keep people from bumping into you!
superb colours and composition
Thank you, James.
Many thanks, Jayne. I hope to get back there before the end of the week, but time’s running out!
love this one
Many thanks – something to see around every corner.
