A not-so-needless shortcut in Birmingham, UK. It runs between New Street (this was taken from that end), & Temple Row.
uk, birmingham, needless alley, england
A short bio, eh? I am Sheila, & I am short.
Nice shot Shelia, like the reflections on the left.
Thanks, Rob. When I ventured through it, I had no idea where I’d end up, but Needless To Say, I lived to tell the tale.
excellent work sheila
Thank you, Steve – I put up my photo of the sign at the entrance to this Unnecessary Place quite a while ago, but never thought about the alley itself. Glad you like it.
Impressive capture… =)
Many thanks, Ron, & thanks for the Watch.
Great depth and perspective here Sheila. A splendid image. XO, Ron
Hey! Thank you, Ron. Birmingham was full of unexpected surprises.
Great depth and reflections in the shot, I love mooching down these alley ways, there are loads in London!
Thanks, Shaun – have alley-crawled a little in London, but it was a LONG time ago.
Fantastic DOV! I can feel the cramped spaces
Thanks, C ~ it does have that claustrophobic feel to it, but once inside, it gave it up & allowed you to breathe!
Fabulous shot Sheila, well done.
Fantastic street scene, Sheila! I love the point of view and angle! Excellent photograph!
Thanks – there was actually a lot going on in Needless Alley when I passed through; a popular cut-through in the heart of the city. I have also passed through Needle Park in Zurich, but that’s another, rather more unsettling story….
