The cafe at the Embsay railroad station, Embsay, Yorks. A colorful spot to watch trains & have a cuppa.

Love the feeling and colors! Great place for cup of tea!

  • Along with its evident ambience, it had the quintessential Little Old Lady fashioning sandwiches. And the trains weren’t bad either. Thanks for the positive reinforcement!

    I love this capture !
I’m sat 2 miles away from Embsay writing this at the mo’ in Skipton !!
    Quite a timeless image.

  • Many thanks, Steve. Wish I were there, too. It’s Hallowe’en, & the weather is strikingly Hallowe’enish here… strong wind, leaves flying, rain pattering & thwacking. I expect to see a witch fly by on her broom any second – maybe heading for Skipton. We loved this little tea room – all the colors & bric-a-brac were perfect; just shy of being Too Much. Timeless is it!
