From Prince Of Wails To Prince Of Wales, Eventually by

Let’s hear it for the monarch-to-be & for all those with a finger in that grand dynastic pie! Hear hear………

This Monarch has already been crowned, but I thought he was appropriate under the circumstances. I cannot take credit for this photo ~ it was taken by my regal nephew, Geoff Richelew, who found this beauty perched upon his car when he returned to the car park after a stroll around part of the Gettysburg battleground site in Pennsylvania a day or two ago.

Photo by Geoff, posted with permission, indeed.

    The Prince of Whales!
    Wasn’t that Mobby Dick?
    Harpoon the wee flutterbye!
Did you know they have loads of blubber & oil?
Enough to keep an oil lamp going for about 2 billionth of a second!
I think over here we have a similar version called the Red Admiral!
    Bonnie capture Sheila :o) xx

  • Ha & ha, Robin. Actually we have the Red Admiral over here, too… quite distinct from this Monarch, but both can be seen chasing Great White Whales on their Way to Wales. Quite terrifying, actually. AND, the Andy Murray shirt arrived last week, & I have worn it a couple of times. It looks brilliant, & I love it! Was sorry that Lee Westwood didn’t win the Open last weekend, but was glad for ol’ Phil… & what grand weather you are enjoying over there! East Lothian never looked better!! Thanks, pal.

Geoff has taken a wonderful image Sheila – interesting write-up too ! By the way, I attended the Prince of Wales
Sea Training School at Dover in Ken – does that make me royalty too…….Lol ?

  • Need you even ask?? Thanks, Roy… I’ll pass the word on to neph Geoff.

BEAUTIFUL. Sharp, well composed and nice colors.
    So.. that;’s the verdict Lass!!
    John

  • I thank you, my nephew thanks you, & if this butterfly was aware, he’d thank you, too, Dutch Uncle!! Geoff does take some great pictures, & in fact, he suggested to me that I post this on RB… think I can get him to join?? And we thank you for the favorite, of course!

Thank you Sheila, so glad you like your Andy Murray T-shirt!
Its still the only one in the World!
Sold a total of five but yours is the only one of that version!
So close yet so far for Mr Westwood but well done Phil!
Had a bit of thunder today but its still hot & muggy!
Awe the best doll :o) xx

  • I always was one-of-a-kind…. xx & oo to you.

Beautiful shot, Geoff and great to see on Red Bubble thanks to you, Sheila. Got to love those monarchs and the photo title shows how well in tune with the times you are,

  • When I went online just now I saw the pic of the infant. And yes, with all due respect, he does look like Winston Churchill…. Now all we need is a name. Couldn’t resist that title… & I heard from Geoff that he is happy with the posting. Thanks, Peg, & for favoring us! Geoff will be in Hamburg next week for a few days.

Well done Geoff – we had the 21 gun salute in lightning last night – lovely posting Sheila – do trust that the new parents have a whale of a time with the new prince !!

  • Thanks for that, Mattie! That princeling did weigh in at more than respectable poundage.

  • Hey ~ thanks, Malcolm. I’ve been passing all these comments on to my nephew; think he’s a candidate for RedBubble! Expect to see him next week, so maybe we can do some more Bubbling while he’s here! And we most definitely thank you for the favorite!!
