Last Days of the World... AK 47 performance troupe by

AK 47 was the name of a performance troupe under the direction of Christopher Barnett and they worked in Sydney and Melbourne in the early eighties. In this image is Bronwyn Fullerton on the set of Experts in Fear which ran at Art Unit in early 1983. It was a three peice performance and included this piece which was called "The Last Days of the World’ and a short spoken word piece called ‘Jazzpoems’ and then finished up with ‘Ulrike Mienhoff Sings’

This really was no holds barred theatre and had a blinding effect on the audience that is hard to imagine today.
