Artist's Description

During any Rodeo, in Texas or elsewhere, you will see some hands and handlers setting on the fence. To some it looks like their just trying to get one of the best seats in the arena. But they are responsible for getting the animal to the shoot and to get it remove from the arena quickly. The best way to do that is to ride the fence (as they say it). These men will enter the arena to help the clown(s) if they appear to be getting into trouble. That is why some chose to wear bright colored clothing, to attract the bulls attention. I have seen these men do amazing things to protect the Clowns and the Rider. They don’t do the job for the money. They are well respected for their bravery by everyone who views the Rodeo.
