Other then the collection for my upcoming show in dec- 2012 , i did 3 mixmedia commissioned works recently , Sharing after a long here :).

This one is the second of "Ahdya " – another name of goddess durga in hindu mythology . I chose to work on scientific details and experiences about scared chakras , their color and particular roles in human body . each one is related to one form of Goddes “Adhya” (sharing a little more details below )

Goddes Durga is worshipped all over in india specially in 9 days festival “navratris” – twice a year, once in the beginning of summer and again at the onset of winter.

In these days the energy aspect of God is invoked in the form of the universal mother – “Adhya Shakti” (energy or power) , It is this energy, which helps God to proceed with the work of creation, preservation and destruction. This worship of Shakti re-confirms the scientific theory that energy is imperishable. It cannot be created or destroyed. It is always there.
