Feels Like the Wind Blows by

This is a tribute to a friend of mine who passed away in 2010. She lived for music and inspired this work from start to finish.
The title is from the Silverchair song ‘Without You’, the band we bonded over and saw in concert together many many times around the country as teenagers.
Traditional drawing in charcoal pencil and pastel, digital embellishments.

Ah, after I read the description I understood why it looks like it was made with a moment in time in mind. Beautiful colours, toning, shading, contrast and restraint. Sweet.

  • Thanks so much for your words Jodi :)
