Last year I went to a beach sculpture exhibit (the Swell Festival, Gold Coast) and I kept seeing these two little girls while I was there, they were having a day at the beach with their mother I think. They were so adorable and have been in the back of my mind ever since to draw or paint and I finally got to it! So to these girls, whoever you are, thankyou for being my little muses for the day.
Watercolour and pencil. 25 × 30cm hot pressed watercolour paper.

Thanks Karin! It’s funny, all these lovely sculpures at Swell, but these two girls were the most inspiring! I’m glad you like it and aww they remind you of you neices?

Thanks Hal! I was hoping for that, something easy and breezy that makes the viewer smile.
