Seems I have recovered all the files…..THOUSANDS……but now I must begin sorting (by date shot)and re-cataloging…..a new external hdd should arrive tomorrow (Wednesday) and then I can get everything back to where it should be……the recovery software seems to ahve kept the EXIF data intact, at least on the jpgs……I haven’t had the courage to look into the raw files…….once i can marry up jpgs to raws I will be feeling fantastic……right now feeling gloomy and sick to my stomach due to all the work I have caused myself……..at least it was not a total loss.
I must find pictures of family I promised to have in the “E” mail before this fiasco happened…….and also a clients portraits…….think I’m gonna puke!!!!!
