Deanna Maich is currently living in the Atherton Tablelands and this has been the inspiration for her latest works. Her surrogate children, two kelpies are often muses but also the folk and landscape she encounters in her day to day living. Maich, a linguist and traveller enjoys word and image play and often incorporates quirky juxtiposing in her works which can be bought locally at Lemon Funkd, Yungaburra.
