Cyclone Larry ‘decapitated’ 90% of Silkwood houses (Queensland) -

Here is Esther (circa 82 years) carrying furniture and cleaning out the childrens charity furniture store.

Inspiration from a woman twice my age. Already in the thick of it with her own home affected by the cyclone she continues her volunteer work following ’Larry’s’ path of destruction.

Very wonderful and creative artwork. The combination of normal portrait, and abstract like animals and landscape, creates the wonderful, fun, and captivating image. Wonderful composition and perspective.

Hey cheers for your support. This is a large piece that was chosen by a young couple. Friar birds was chosen by their friends and they swap them now and again..good economic way to change art around huh.

Love this, the shapes, colours & adding the figure to the scene makes it. Brilliant. K
