Australian (tropical) native flower. Common name Cape York Lilly.
Mid-October, after some unusual early wet seasonal rains, I sited the first flowering of this plant in our home backyard, near Innisfail, Far North Queensland. (I don’t recall planting it nor does my husband???!!! One of us must have!)
