Component drawing No.6 is from the assembled original artwork A Potter’s Garden

A Potter’s Garden was one of three works exhibited in the Cooperate, Collaborate, Kuranda Arts Cooperative group exhibition, Cairns Regional Gallery.

About the exhibition
Artists were asked to work in someway with and/or reflect something about another participating member artist in the spirit of collaboration and cooperation.

For this particular work A Potter’s Garden, I chose to reflect on my potter artist friend’s beautiful garden in Kuranda, Far North Queensland, Australia and how she places her ‘lesser quality’, faulty or something gone wrong pots for display around in her tropical garden.

(For two years running, her garden was chosen for the national one-day-a-year Open Public Garden Display.)
