My “creative art practice” may be be succinctly summed up in the following fantastic metaphorical quote by Kandinsky:
~ “Colour is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key then another to cause vibration of the soul.”

stunning! this is amazing – I have a shot like this, but not so perfect. Congrats to the spider that built this thing! LOL

  • Thanks for your lovely comments. Lol, yes definitely congrat’s & thanks to the female spider. You can get to see her here with her teeny weensy little male partner.

  • Last few years over our AU Summer & Autumn months, we’ve been getting an abundance of them around and under our high-set house, as they are more protected from the harsh weather elements. They spin their magic every night-early morning. Had the pleasure of watching one spinning her grand approx. 1metre at least diameter web before sunrise and it was truly, truly mesmerizing and so blessed to have witnessed the precise weaving, spinning motions. sigh 8)

the patience, talent, and design mastery of this web making spider’s home is special….the image more than does it justice. bravo!
    phil

  • Thanks so much Phil. It was a ‘huge’ web and think there was a lot of patching up going on at this later cycle stage as within a week or so of taking this shot she finally left the web to go lay her eggs (I presume).
