A mix of traditional watercolor and digital work. Kurt Cobain was an American singer-songwriter, musician, and artist, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the grunge band Nirvana. Cobain established Nirvana in 1985 with Krist Novoselic. After there first album Bleach, they found breakthrough success with “Smells Like Teen Spirit” from their second album Nevermind. Cobain went on to marry Courtney Love but after struggling with illness and depression for most of his life, Cobain was found dead at his home in Seattle in 1994 from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head.
