ABOUT MY ART
Although I used in the past pastels, charcoal, ink, acrylics and even some oils, I am now focusing on painting with transparent watercolors on paper, yupo or silk.
Many of my paintings depict hypothetical situations and imaginary scenes, striving to capture ideas and moods rather then a resemblance to specific places or people.
My favourite genre is surrealism, juxtaposing familiar elements with imaginary or abstract ones, in a dream like manner.
In addition to traditional art I also create Computer Graphics images since there are many elements that I can only create as computer images. But mainly I use CG to set up virtual models and/or scenes which are then painted in watercolor.
I also Like photography, sometimes as reference material for my art but mainly to capture beautiful or unusual things I saw.

“I paint what cannot be photographed, that which comes from the imagination or from dreams, or from an unconscious drive. I photograph the things that I do not wish to paint, the things which already have an existence.” Man Ray, modernist painter
