Watercolor sky with an ink foreground, I’ve been into abandoned castles, old houses and ominous skies lately. The red watercolor has been mixed with black so many times over the years and now its off-red looks like more of a dried blood color so I thought I’d have fun with that.

Watercolor and ink on watercolor paper.

Very Cool! I really like your use of the silhouettes in your work as well as how you depict the sky w/all the Swirling colors!

  • Thanks so much!! I did really love the silhouette work, I’ve been thinking of doing more in this style as it’s been a year or so since I’ve made silhouette work. Thanks for such lovely feedback and encouragement!! :)))
