The Lemur is an incredible animal. It belongs to the monkey family. It has a very long tail that resembles that of a squirrel and a raccoon, and very intense beady orange eyes surrounded with black circles. Then run about very quickly, and with their keen sense of smell, come up very close to the visitors. You see, this exhibit allows us to enter the “cage.” There is a huge fenced in yard where these critters roam, and we go inside to join them. It can be a bit startling if you forget to leave your food outside!
