Bridge at the Biblical Zoo of Jerusalemby Sarah Levinson
The zoo in Jerusalem beautifully exhibits rare animals of threatened species along with others centered around the themes an names of creatures mentioned in the Bible. There is actually a building called Noah’s Ark which was built very much like the biblical description. The zoo presents the animals in very open settings so that the animals have more freedom, and the visitors witness an amazingly aesthetic experience. Though I often go there to paint, I always find the landscape and floral gardening to be breathtaking through all the seasons of the year. This bridge marks one of my favorite resting spots under the shade of a lovely weeping willow tree.
