Welcome back, Ruth!! You were greatly missed. What a beautiful bridge. Great to see you! :D
Thankyou for the “bienvenue” Frannie, I guess I ’ll have a lot of catching up to do, seems to have been very adventurous in here the last times.
The bridge is taking out of the window of the beautiful apartment where I satyed in my Scotland holidays, the railroad over the Firth of Forth and indeed the Kingdom of Fife begins where the bridge touches the land.
What a country where you have kingdoms! In my country we have this beautiful word only existing in fairy tales, Scotland has it in reality. A country to love this wonderful place.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Ruth What an iconic view of my neck of the woods I live in Edinburgh and cross the Firth of Forth most days , and never tire of the Wonderful old bridge ! Gosh I would so loved to have met up with you and your family ! , to say Hi and have a wee dram !……….So Fabulous to see you back , " A Big Welcome " ….Paul
That’s beautiful Paul, I knew you and Fee and Stephen being in Scotland but I didn’t want to be invasive . I was aware of having you somewhere around in the area and that made my holiday even more bright. Edinburgh was such a delight to visit and the bridge here was infront of my window in North Queensferry. One morning we went jogging , we crossed the bridge back and forth , but my lungs hurt. It was very special. So if you saw two ladies with 2 little girls and a third one in a jogger running over the bridge quite early in the morning…….that was us.;)

oh…..the red bridge is the one for the train, we were jogging over the suspension bridge just next to it….I had to correct that. ……….yes, and I want to add that I’m very glad to see you back here too and I heard that a certain person had to leave.VERY good news
Ruth, you should have said! would have loved to have met you . Hope you enjoyes Scotland anyway..
I thought of you a lot but as I travelled with 3 kids of 11, 9 and 2(!!!). Naomi’s friends and happiness. But your country is soooo beautiful, be sure I come back and the fine apartment in North-Queensferry is a delight to stay at. I search flights for the next time. We drove all the way by car and were tired. When we meet I’ll bring you a Lacoque as he was your true friend in art. :)) Ruth
