“…Either way, there is an immemorial experience in this aspect of an art object: art bans good and bad spirits; the good artist is always a therapist. The therapeutic effect is not the only one an art object can possess, of course. After viewing the works of Tito, though, these were the thoughts that immediately came to my mind. I believe that one should also honor an artist by talking about the wholesome effects of his works…”

Wonderful sketch. Love the words of his that you added. Wait until I show this to a fellow bubbler who is a great fan of his. I’m sure he’ll love it.
Thanks a lot, Iris! I appreciate your comment and recommendation! :-)

great painting and quote of Bukowski aka Chinaski, probally one of Americas best and most influential poets possiably even the worlds, changed the way poetry was looked at and written, even those that do not read him are influenced by his legacy,im sure the new formalist would disagree with me,but to each his own….sorry for rambling….truly a great portrait….awesome work…
Thank you very much for your nice words, Rocky! Each his own and Hank for us… You didn´t ramble against me. I am surely no new formalist, whatever that means. ;-)
