the right side is painted with wood stain. I love earthy tones, and when I mix skin tones I pretend I am mixing a makeup foundation. The best way to get a believable skin tone is to put the mixed paint on your hand and compare the two. :-) A little trick I picked up from watching late night beauty infomercials lol

It takes me about 8 hours maybe depending on the subject matter….then through out months/year I add layers of dry brushing. As an artist I feel my work can always be improved. Thank you for asking. That is always such an honor. Thank you soo much. Every painting I paint are of models, then I add or change it around a bit. Credit is always given on sites which I first find them, mostly on Deviantart. and appreciated by photographers. I feel drawn to an image and if it pertains to how I am feeling or something I am going through at the time then I have to paint it. I spend most my time painting these days since I’m dealing with a broken soul, I have no reason to do anything else but create art.
